Look, I try to be an honest person, I really do. I was never good at hiding my emotions, so being transparent about them is kinda how I roll. Kindness is not a finite resource in my book; if I can give it, I will do so happily. I’m an open book and empathetic to a fault. Now the next few things I have to say are slightly more specific, depending on the context and circumstances surrounding the asker. Like, I really can’t fucking believe I have to add this, but since so many of you deem it necessary, it must be done.

  I literally couldn’t care less. I am more than happy with my current boyfriend and I’ll be damned if I let some irrelevant nobody mess with that. We broke up, get over it. I don’t want you in my life and I certainly don’t want to be in yours. Fuck off, leave me alone.


• I’ll kill myself if you don’t talk to me or get back together with me.
  First off, I know you aren’t being serious and that is just you being emotionally manipulative. I’m not going to bother humouring you. However, if you do have a history of mental illness, I advise you to utilize Crisis Text Line if you are truly in a moment of crisis. Just text “HELP” or “HOME” to 741-741 and proceed from there. Don’t contact me again or ever, I’m not your fucking therapist. Seek professional help. I’m not here to perform emotional labour for you.


• Can we at least be friends?
  No, especially if we have recently separated. Maybe if it’s been a while and I feel you have made considerable progress in maturing. Definitely if I know for sure you are over me or were never into me and we can easily and comfortably laugh about our past mishaps with each other.

  I will, but keep in mind my side is still biased, no matter how hard I try not to be. You need to understand that. Also, don’t ask me for advice, I just want to be as pedantic as possible.

  Take your petty ass somewhere else and sit there. And get real acquainted with never hearing from me.
